Meet the Artist
Cuban-American, Florida-based composer, songwriter, and producer caro has been immersed in music since the age of five, when she first began training in classical piano. Playing the piano sparked an early love for music, and as she grew, so did her passion for creating it. By high school, she was composing and writing songs for her school band, captivated by the idea of crafting melodies and arrangements that could tell stories without words.
Her journey into production began when a friend was giving away a MacBook. Knowing she wanted Logic Pro to write and produce music, she gladly accepted it—this became her gateway into the world of digital music production. The moment she started exploring Logic Pro, everything clicked. She realized she was meant to be a producer, composer, and engineer, bringing ideas to life and sharing them with the world.
caro’s sound is a fusion of R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, cinematic, and electronic elements, often incorporating contemporary piano to craft introspective and emotionally rich soundscapes. She draws inspiration from film score composers like Rachel Portman and Nicholas Hooper, as well as genre-defining artists such as Mac Miller, Kali Uchis, SZA, Frank Ocean, and Tyler, the Creator. Her music is a blend of structured storytelling and raw emotion, capturing moments of vulnerability, love, and personal growth.
Believing that music is a universal language, Caro strives to create something new that resonates with people on a personal level. She wants her compositions to be open to interpretation, allowing listeners to connect in their own way and perceive the world through a different lens.

2004
The beginning
caro began her classical piano training at the age of five, instantly developing a deep love for both the instrument and music itself.
Writing her own story
caro began composing her own music in high school, writing orchestral arrangements, marching band stand tunes, and cinematic piano pieces.
She meticulously transcribed her compositions by hand and later used Sibelius to refine her notation skills. These early experiences deepened her understanding of arrangement and orchestration, laying the foundation for her career in composition.

The producer emerges
caro obtained her first Mac and downloaded Logic Pro, marking the beginning of her journey into digital composition and production. As she delved into writing and learning the intricacies of music production, she quickly realized her passion extended beyond just creating—she was meant to share her art with the world.
The debut chapter
In February of 2019, caro released her debut album Abstract Concept. This contemporary piano and soft orchestral project invites listeners into a calm, reflective state of mind. Showcasing her classical piano roots, it highlights the expressive depth and emotion that defined her early years as a musician. The album marks the beginning of her evolution as a composer and producer.

Evolving the sound
In the summer of 2021, caro released her third album, Introspection—a chill, R&B, lo-fi, and experimental electronic project that takes listeners on a journey of self-reflection and emotional exploration through ambient textures, soulful melodies, and thoughtful production. That same year, she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music Theory, designing a DSP sound effect board for her senior project that fused her passion for audio hardware, software, and music—perfectly bridging her technical expertise with her creative expression.
